Meet Joe

Born and raised in Guernsey, Joe’s early formal creative training began at Brighton Polytechnic where he achieved a Diploma in Art and Design at Foundation Course level. He then went on to major in product design at Staffordshire University where he worked on live projects for BT, Sony and Palatoy before graduating and returning to the island in 1992.

Upon his return he joined the radical and progressive  KWL Advertising agency to become Head Creative until 1996, when he was appointed Creative Director for the Image Group.
In 2000 he was head hunted by Wallace Barnaby and joined their creative department, remaining there until 2006.

After a brief time with Submarine, a small web development company, Joe was appointed as Creative Director Guernsey with The Partnership agency in 2008 until 2010, when he decided to set up his own studio, Mojoe.

During his career, Joe has been closely involved and personally responsible for some of the island’s most memorable and effective advertising campaigns, as well as producing work for national and international clients. Equally, he has created a wide variety of quality creative work for print, identity, packaging, TV, radio and digital media.
